Who I am and What I Can Do For You?

My name is James Connolly and over the last 4 years I have been involved with the design and the development of websites. I have worked for a commercial radio station, a graphic design house, web agency and I also have experience of lecturing my skills in the education sector. I feel that my knowledge makes me an expert in this field and also have the experience of working with numerous clients in the past. With the modern way of the world a website is now a necessity for every business. I am currently looking to undertake work from small to medium sized companies, whether you’re a builder, hotelier, holiday cottage owner, taxi firm, painter or decorator… I also have the contacts in the industry to take on bigger work.

Having worked in the industry I realise the high costs other agencies charge for the design and development of a website which can run in too many thousands of pounds. What I have found from my experiences the client gets massively over charged with an over complicated designed site, with an unnecessarily bespoke admin system that is developed from scratch and costs many thousands of pound to develop. I realise that with the current economic climate many small to medium sized businesses do not have the capital to purchase a website that costs this much.

What I do differently is design my websites round a pre developed admin system. This allows me to keep costs down to a minimum, usually under thousands pounds. It also allows me to keep the site build down to a minimum, meaning you get your site online and ready to use within days, not months!
